Transport in combination with other products hardly causes any problems

As Hydragea is a leafy plant in a relatively small pot, ther is always a risk of dehydration

As from November till medio January 1997/1998 , the flower auction has a proposal , that during the weakest growing period in combination of the low quality of Hydangea, they are not for sale on the clock.

Hydrangea is not yet an all year-round product.
Remove the sheet from the plant.
Do not present the plant in blazing sunshine or outdoors.
The plant has to be watered regularly
Avoid draught and great temperature changes.
Storage temperature between 10-15 degrees Celcius.
The Hydrangea is mostly characterised as a houseplant, but it is also doing very well in a tub on a terrace or a balcony or in the garden. It may also be put in the garden after its flowering season indoors

Information for the Consumer :
The plant needs a light place, but should be kept out of blazing sunshine.
Water plentifully as oftenas necessary to keep the potting soil throughly moist.
Never allow the mixture to dry out, or the plant will collapse. If this is happens, immerse the pot in a bucket of water until the soil is thoroughtly soaked.
Fertilise every two weeks with plant fertiliser during growth period as long as the plant remains indoors.

After its flowering season, the plant may be put in the garden.
Flower colour of all Hydrangeas is affected by the degree of acid or alkalini of the soil ( pH value. 7 is neutral acid/al;kaline balance. From 7 down to 0 is acid and from 7 up to 14 is alkalini).
Red or pink flowers of the Hydrangea develop blue or purple flowers when growing in neutral or acid soil.

All plants can live only in the range between pH 4 till pH 8.
Blue flowers of the Hydangea turn into pink or red-purple flowers when growing in alkaline soil.
Information during transport :
Hydrangea: flowers and leaves are delicate and easily damaged.
Optimum temperature in transit lies between 10-15 degress Celcius
At higher temperatures, there is a risk of dehydration.
