In lower temperatures the foliage may turn yellow
In higher temperatures the flowers ripen too rapidly, while excessive dessication will occur, resulting in limp and yellowed plants
In temperatures over the 30 degrees Celcius the flower bud do not any more.

Place pot Chrysantemum in good light, but not in full sunlight. When flower buds has 3-4 hours direct sunlight some flower buds may fail to open.
Regularly remove faded flowers.
Pot Chrysanthemum will continue to flowe for a longer period if kept in a cool spot. 17-20 degrees Celcius.
Warmer conditions will shorten the flowering period greatly.
Purchased chrysanthemums dry out quickly. Make sure that the soil does not dry out.
Water them plentifully as often as necessary in orderr to keep the soil thoroughly moist.
Fertilizing is not necessary for these temporary plants.
