Azalea will flower for longer periods if position in a cool room is also suittable.
Place an Azalea in bud or bloom in good bright light but out of direct sunlight.
The lager the plant, the more easily it is carried over into another year.
Make sure that the soil is constantly moist at the roots. Water them plantifull. Stand pot on a saucer of damp peddles for extra humidity.
Once a week plunge the Azalea in a bucket of tepid water.
Spraying will increase the atmospheric humidity, but the flowers may become stained.
If your water contains lime, plants may become chlorotic, with the result that their leaves will turn yellow.
Remove faded flowers together with the flower-stalk to encourage other buds to open.
When in bloom, do not add any nitriments.
